1916/1920: Two covers from Burma to TENGYUEH, western Yunnan province, China with 1) 1916 cover from Rangoon bearing superb strike of large circled "PASSED BY CENSOR RANGOON" handstamp in violet (with Coat of Arms inside), franked with India KGV. ½a. and 1a.(2), deaptach and arrival cds, and 2) 1920 used India postal stationery envelope ½a., uprated with 1a. pair, sent from Bhamo to 'The Commissioner of customs' in Tengyueh (arrival cds)....

1935 (22.7.), Soviet Union (U.S.S.R) 20 kop. olive-green used on cover with small boxed 'Paquebot' adressed to Rangoon with stamp cancelled on arrival with fine 'RANGOON G.P.O. SORTING' pmk., unusual cover with small creases. Catalog Price 50,00

1937 KGV. complete set (plus add. shade of 3a6p.) used, Rupee values also fine although the 25r. shows very small imperfections (indistinct part of cds, a slightly shortend corner perf and very minimal surface scratch below value table). 1953. CRASH MAIL. Air Mail envelope addressed to London bearing Burma SG 109, 8a red and SG 136, 25p ultramarine (3) tied by Rangoon double ring with hand-struck instructional 'Salvaged Mail/ "Comet" Crash, Near Calcutta ‘2nd May 1953.' In violet on face. The first of the three "Comet" disasters occurred when the plane crashed near Calcutta. Catalog Price 130,00

No. 21 (Myitinge), dated 19 Oct 45, 2) 2a.6p. claret block of four on censored cover to Rangoon, cancelled with Exptl. P.O. No. 39 (4 Oct 45), backstamped 'Exptl. P.O. No.4' d/s, and 3) air mail cover from F.P.O. 138, all franked with "MILY ADMIN" optd. stamps, with a few little stains, but an interesting trio....

INVERTED, along with 1a. and 3p., 2) Cover from Pengu to Rangoon franked with 2a. tied with "MAIL AGENT R.M.S.
