Diplomatic cover from foreign Ministry in Athens to the Greek Consul in Munich, Bavaria sent Oct. 10 1861 short after the introduction of Greek stamps, arrived Nov. 2 1861. Only the foreign part to Triest and Munich had to be paid with 90 lepta. A fine postal history document showing a unique official domestic free franking usage. (Hellas 4b+7a).

Cover from Coelleda (Prussia) Oct. 29 1861 to the Special Ambassador of Prussia in Athens via Triest No. 2, taxed in Athens Oct. 26 with 110 lepta (all Paris print). 1862 Letter from Amaliopolis to Syros franked with 2l. bistre srtip of 5 and 10l. orange , showing municipal seal in blue (1/04/1862). This is the only known cover from this village, which had to change its name after the deposition of King Otto, because Amalia was his wife. The srtip of 5 of the 2l. is as rare as the cover of this village. Very fine and extremely rare, certificate by Holcombe. (Hellas 2a+4b).

Postal Fraud with a 20l. where the upper left quarter is added inverted to pretend a complete stamp. This is the earliest known example of such a fraud. The cover is from Triest to Kalamai, there paid on Dec. 31 1862 with the normal rate of 75 lepta composed of 3 different issues: 5l. Paris, 40l. Provisional and 10 and 20l. Definitive. A delightfoul and unique postal history item. (Hellas 3b+14IIa+18a+19a).
