1896 OFS 1/2d overprints on 3d st. includ block of 4 with 3 different types of 1/2d overpr.
 and - Gutter-pair with two types of "Halve Penny" overprints. bar on top instead on bottom.
 Without bar, missing period after "Penny.
1894 OFS cover sent to Holland, franked by 4-block of pale brown 1d stamps (issued in 1868).
 tied by "10" bar cancels, backstamped by philippolis 15.10.1894 dispatch,
 and Rotterdam 6.11....

Nice lot of one hundred (378) vintage, mostly early 20th century postcards.
All depict cartography, maps, and/or globes. Many scarce, unique cards. Around one quarter postally used. Most/ all appear to have been issued prior to the 1950's, majority in the 1890-1930 era.
All are visually attractive, mostly clean and nice condition, any age flaws or condition issues are very minor and easy to forgive or overlook.A wonderful...

Iran, ,1929 6 diff  Flight covers Teheran to Bagdad, each with a combination of Air mail surcharges, and Shah Pahlav issues. Bi-lingual handstamps in arabic and french. A scarce pair of early flight covers especially with high values.

1924 Mount Everest Label, postmarked "Mount Everest Expedition /1924/Tongbruk/ Glacier/ Base/Camp" in red dispatched by postal runner to India postmarked Calcutta OCT.16.1924 with British Empire Exhibition Cancel addressed to UK 

1948- 1955 Collection of 9 different envelopes of air mail. One for Argentina with a censorship stamp 22.8.1950.  Tripole envelope dated 6.12.1950, and envelope dated 6.7.1948 to Italy. Includes 1953 6 diff AEROGRAMMES from 1953 sent to ITALY & LIBYA and SUISSE  to Mr' Vandelli Deller, including letters from Mr. Cohen Philatelic Service Manager. price list for Israel stamps. More interesting

Letter from Tel-Aviv-Hakirya of 8/1948 sent to London and revamped on 2/9/48 on his return taking into account the 15 m tax (cf. purple stamp on the rcto aui specifies that "the letter n ' is not prepaid at the current rate and must have a supplement of 15 mils for etrw sent ").
