This catalogue contains a great selection of Australian coins including Australian Shipwrecks, Adelaide Pound , Dumps , Proclamation coins, Gold Sovereigns and Half-Sovereigns, pre-decimal coins and Proofs, A major collection of Error Coins, RAM , Perth Mint and NPA products. There are many highlights in the Australian Coins including Three Australian 1930 Pennies. First is graded in VF/gVF , then a Fine and VG/VF and are Reserved at $20,000 , $16,000 , $10,000 respectively (Lots 6007, 6008 and 6009). This auction also includes a Adelaide Assay Office Type II Coins and is Reserved at $12,000 (Lot 5563). There is also a 1813 New South Wales Dump (fifteen pence). In the World Coins is a GB 1642 Charles I Pound Oxford mint, smaller Shrewsbury horseman. King on horseback left trampling on arms, Cannon amongst arms rev legend, denomination & date. Also in the world banknote section is a France 5000 Francs 2-1-1918. Multicolor design by Flameng, large format 255 x 127mm. In a descriptive holder with certificate of Authenticity. Plus an 8 Reales from an unknown shipwreck, the obv corroded away with seawater only partial mint marks visible on rev. (P)

Very sl loss of metal upper right, overall seawater corr but still very collectable. Weight 1325g, approx 155x200mm.
