1861, Sardinian 20 c dark blue, three wide margins, touched at bottom, tied to folded letter from "BERGAMO 10 APR 61" to Vieana, showing Austrian tax mark "15" on front. On reverse next day "DA MILANO A DESENCANO (2)" of the Italian TPO directing Italian-Austrian Border at the Lake Garda. Red "9-11 Fr WIEN 13 A?" arrival on reverse. A nice cover from the aftermath of the Italian-Austrian war, when it was not possible to pay the postage for the complete route.
