Recess by Perkins Bacon 1858 (Nov 10): 6 d. deep rose-red, an unused block of six (3 x 2) with good to enormous margins all round, of fabulous colour, one or two minor wrinkles mentioned for accuracy and not remotely affecting the dramatic appearance, unused without gum as issued. The largest known multiple of this stamp with just one other block recorded. Illustrated in 'The Stamps of Barbados' by Edmund Bayley on page 30.
