Sideface 1889: 'Halfpenny' on 1 d. carmine, a horizontal pair used with Sideface 1 d. vermilion (5), sheet marginal 4 d. chrome-yellow and Postal Fiscal 3 d. chestnut pair all tied to registered 1889 cover addressed to the famous collector, Dorning Beckton, in Manchester tied by "100" numeral obliterators of "Corners" with cds at left (March 28) and straight line REGISTERED in black. Reverse with Launceston transit and Manchester arrival cds (May 13). A charming and scarce cover.
