1892 (April 19): De La Rue Appendix sheet as sent to the Agent General of Tasmania and marked '2' at top left and dated at upper right, for the "Colour Scheme for Tasmanian Postage Stamps" with 13 Trials, utilising Sideface 1 d. rose and 2 d. green, both perf. 14; and Colour Trial 5 d. designs with imperforate examples in the issued colours of the ½ d., 6 d., 1 s., 2 s. 6 d. (manuscript "recommended for 2/6 stamps in lieu of that at foot"), 5 s. and 10 s.; proposed but unissued 3 d. in slate & ultramarine and 4 d. in olive-green & carmine; perforated examples of the 2½ d. and 5 d. in issued colours and, at base a 2 s. 6 d. proposal by the Tasmanian Govcernemnt in deep blue and brown "likely to conflict with the existing 5 d.". Notation alongside the 2½ d. value in manuscript "This new plate made recently might be adhered to until worn out when Keyplate might be prepared (telegram 11.3.92)". This sheet similar to that retained by DLR, see "The De La Rue Collection" edited by Frank Walton RDP on page 6253. Only the ½ d., 6 d., 1 s., 2 s. 6 d and 10 s. were ordered immediately, the 5 s. being delayed until 1896.
