1840: 1 d. black, pl. 2, lettered PA, a used example with large even margins all round, tied to R.W. Hume's Comic Envelope No. 2 "Balloon Letters" (State 2) used to Perth, tied by orange-red Maltese Cross. Reverse with Leith cds in blue (May 28, 1840) and arrival cds of the same day in red. The envelope thinned below 'A' square at right and reinforced, unlisted in British Pictorial Envelopes.
