Typographed from Woodblocks by Samuel Calvert 1854/55: REGISTERED 1 s. rose-pink & blue, imperforate, a single example used with 25 July1857 typographed 4 d. vermilion and 4 d. dull red (issued on July 20) on 1857 registered entire letter to Melbourne tied by barred numeral "61" of Maryborough in black. Endorsed "Registered and Paid" at lower left and reverse with Maryborough datestamp (July 27) and Melbourne arrival of the following day. The letter is a request by the Hospital at Maryborough for reimbursement of costs for medical care from the estate of the late John Farmer. A most unusual combination usage. Cert.
