1886 (Dec 3): Long Stamps 'Postage & Revenue', the set from 2 s. 6 d. mauve to £ 20 claret, wmk. Crown SA sideways, perf. 10; being the complete set of 13 values overprinted small "SPECIMEN" (17.5 x 2 mm.) in black (the £ 5 brown unknown with this Specimen handstamp), all being very fresh and fine, mostly unused without gum. A magnificent and rare set, with the £ 15 and £ 20 adhesives catalogued at £ 85'000+ unused without the "Specimen" overprint, all in lustrous fresh colours. Cert. Ceremuga (2013).
