Recess by Desmadryl 1854 (Feb): 5 c. chestnut-brown, a used example with good to large margins on three siedes, left just touched, tied by black "target" cancel with straight-line "SERENA" to a folded letter sheet dated "26 Janvier 1854" and endorsed "Vapor" to Valparaiso and struck with black "CABOTAJE" straight-line, indicating transport by steamship along the littoral. An unusual entire combinig what is supposed to be the earliest recorded use of the 5 c. chestnut-brown and the uncommon pre-philatelic "CABOTAJE" marking. Signed Miro; cert. Moorhouse (2007).
