1855 (April): Perkins Bacon 5c. red-brown on blued, a huge margined vertical strip of four, marginal from base of sheet with large margins all round and showing portions of four adjoining stamps, used on 1857 cover at quadruple rate to Valparaiso tied by crisp strikes of the target handstamp in black. File folds well away from the fine multiple, a rare and most attractive cover. Cert. Moorhouse (2004).
