1861: Arms of New Granada, 5 c. yellow, two singles, used in combination with 20 c. red, horizontal pair, on piece, with manuscript cancel "Ambalema 24 Mayo de 1862", margins all round except first 5 c. just cut into at base, very fresh colour, an important franking in Colombian Classic philately, extremely rare Scott = $1'300++ as singles. Cert. Bortfeldt (2008) which states "A very fine Showpiece." Ex the Brian Moorhouse Estate.
