Auction 333-341 Europe & Overseas Americas (North, Central & South America) - Day 1

1864: Sixth Issue, Group of thirty-two examples of the 10 c. blue, set-out three album pages, presented as a cancellation study, comprises twenty-nine used singles, one unused with gum and two of the only four known horizontal used pairs, one with rare "SANTA MARTA / DE OFICIO" oval in red (has Bortfeldt certificate which states "A very scarce cancellation, only this one known on this stamp."), the other cancelled by pre-philatelic "SOATA / FRANCA", some faults as would be expected, although in the main fine, an excellent assembly, scarce group.  Ex the Brian Moorhouse Estate.
