1803/64: Selection of postal history covers, comprising nine lettersheets and one cover front, all but one with red handstamp markings, noted; 1823 "COLOMBIA /CALY/ FRANCA" large type framed oval; also an 1858 letter with superb "AMINISTRACION DE CORREOS DE COLON / DEBE" circular and a 1838 printed lettersheet "REPULICA DE LA NUEVA GRANADA" with oval "STA MARTA" and "STA MARTA / FRANCA", all addressed to "Tomás Mosquera" (future President), other marks noted; "POPAYÀN / FRANCA", another Colombia Caly Franca with "FRANCA" crossed out and with manuscript "Deve 2", a "REPUB.D COLOMBIA / STA MARTA / DEBE", two examples of the "SANTFE / YNDIAS / FRANCA" (G&T 4 and 7) and an entire dated 1862 with no markings, a fine and rare group.
