1910/17: Group of twenty-six Proofs, comprising three distinct issues, including a page of twenty-one 1910 trial colour essay die proofs (mostly stamp size) with different coloured vignettes 1 c. to 1 p. plus 10 c. special delivery stamps (x3); also 3 c. José de la Luz proof printed in unissued green in a block of eight with plate number 'S593', together with 20 c. José A. Saco engraved sunken Die Proof of the 20 c. in slate-lilac (issued in olive-green) printed by the Security Bank Note Co. Philadelphia, affixed to card (73 x 132 mm), also postage due 1914 1 c. deep blue, 2 c. mrytle green and 5 c. orange side marginal imperforate Plate Proofs in blocks of four all in unissued colours, an excellent and useful lot. Additionally a proof sheet from the 1994 Hispanic Cuba Philatelic Exhibition in an A4 format with nine impressions in the issued colours on thin paper. Scarce group. Ex the Brian Moorhouse Estate.
