1858: Two covers franked with the Coat of Arms 1 p. rose red, one has four good to large margins all round, of fresh colour, sent from Huaraz to Lima, undated, cancelled by a dotted Huaraz handstamp in black. The second cover has three good to large margins, used from Arica to Lima, dated 10 July 1858, tied by a blue Arica circular datestamp and has a 'Juan Jefferson / Arica' blue cachet alongside. Both have horizontal filing fold centrally well clear of the adhesive. There is minor soiling and stains along the base respectively. Scarce duo.
