1868/1927: Group of five early covers, including a charming 1894 stampless registered cover to Geneva, Switzerland headed "Bureau de Poste Bolivia Avis de Reception en retour", with three superbly struck despatch markings for Santa Cruz, in very fine condition, comes with an 1868 entire letter which has two pairs of Condor 5 c. green, not tied, a 1924 envelope with three aviation school 10 c., one bisected, sent from Chocaya, also a 1893 registered cover from La Paz to Detroit, endorsed "via Panama" franked with 1893 1 c. pair and 10 c and 20 c. singles and also an 1875 opened out envelope with block of four 5 c. green fixed to reverse, some faults and repairs, an interesting and scarce assembly.
