Auction 333-341 Western Australia & Great Britain - Day 3

1884: Bank of England large format stationery envelope sent from London to Feltham, redirected to Isleworth, dated 16 August 1884, with very rare single rim 'LONDON / OFFL PAID' Hoster Machine cancel with no bars in red, with Feltham cds in black alongside (AU 16). To the reverse a further Feltham and an arrival Isleworth squared circle in black (AU 18). Bank of England mail cancel only in use 10 July to 22 August 1884. Rare example; one of five known.
