1840: 2 d. blue, Plate 1, a used horizontal strip of three lettered DC-DE, magin shaved on left stamp with second and third examples with large margins all round, used on 1841 entire letter from Halifax to London mentioning enclosures of insurance docuemnts, tied by black Maltese Crosses. Reverse with Halifax despatch in red (Oct 13) and London arrivals of the following day. A scarce multiple on letter.
