1901/1919: Assembly of four unused examples and two proofs. Including; 1901 De la Rue Die Proof of KEVII large head in black with uncleared surround on white glazed card (92 x 60mm.), no annotations or date and 1901 cut down Die Proof of KEVII head design with wreathed sides and a crown above in black on white glazed card (21 x 25mm.). Also, a fair example of the 1902 10 d. dull purple & carmine variety 'No cross on Crown' (Gi 254a = £425) and Official 1903 Admiralty 2½ d. ultramarine, has a vertical crease (Gi O105 = £425). Two King George V Seahorse items including; 1915 2 s. 6 d. yellow-brown marginal mounted in margin only (Gi. 406 = £550) and 1918/19 Bradbury Wilkinson 10 s. steel blue corner example from lower left of the sheet mounted in the margin only, fine and fresh (Gi N71 (3) = £1,100). Some imperfections and faults but a scarce group (6) Gi = £ 2'500+.
