1883 (July 2): 2 s. 6 d. lilac on blued paper, wmk. Anchor, lettered GA-GC, a used horizontal strip of three in a pale shade on very blued paper, lightly cancelled by "Newport Docks" circular datestamps (April 29, 1886) in black. Some pressed bends but an exceedingly rare multiple of the early printings on glued fiscal paper. Cert. BPA (2020) Gi K9 = £ 4'500+.
