Auction 333-341 Western Australia & Great Britain - Day 3

1915/16: Sizeable accumulation of almost exclusively unused singles, vertical strips of three and larger blocks all with the "N.W. / PACIFIC / ISLAND." overprint in black; comprising 14 pages with a varied range of values and issues (Gi 65/124) with some duplication. Noted four examples of the scarce 1916 5 s. grey & yellow, Die II wmk. T2 unused (Gi 83) and also two examples of the £ 1 brown & ultramarine (Gi 94). Three matching unused sheets of 30 with varieties noted (Gi 65, 67b & 70) also 1918/22 1 d. carmine-red Die I unused block of ten (5 x 2) second and third stamps on each row Die II, of fresh colour unused (Gi 103b+103). Faults to be expected although most fine. A scarce assembly Gi = £ 16'500+.
