Auction 333-341 Nigeria, Cameroon, Sudan & Worldwide Postal History - Day 4

1883: Postal Stationery, 1½ d. red-brown, used reply card, from Polzin, Germany to Lagos, dated 10 September 1883, cancelled by "POLZIN" datestamp in black, with "LAGOS" arrival cds dated 24 October 1883 alongside. To the reverse a "STETTIN" single circle in black dated 19 September 1883, has an extensive message and two very faint red transit marks. Heavy vertical filing crease centrally and soiling, however a very rare use; only recorded example of a reply card sent to Lagos.
