British Protectorate Oil Rivers 1892: Registration Envelope, 2 d. ultramarine, size H2, used with a combination of 1892 2 d. grey-green & carmine horizontal pair overprinted "BRITISH / PROTECTORATE / OIL RIVERS", 1894 ½ d. green horizontal pair and 5 d. purple two singles, sent from Old Calabar to London England, dated 22 May 1895, tied by the "OLD CALABAR RIVER" squared circle with an additional strike alongside. Endorsed "per Niger (s)", also a "REGISTERED LIVERPOOL" oval dated 30 June 1895, a fine and scarce combination on stationery registration envelope.
