Niger Coast Protectorate 1894: Registration Envelope, 2 d. ultramarine, size G, type I, used with 1892 ½ d. vermilion horizontal pair and 2 d. grey-green & carmine horizontal pair, overprinted "BRITISH / PROTECTORATE / OIL RIVERS" in black, sent from Brass to Manchester, England, dated 11 November 1895, endorsed "per Bona (s)", tied by "BRASS RIVER"" single circle, with "REGISTERED LIVERPOOL" alongside dated 11 December 1895. An attractive and very fine example. Scarce, especially so fresh.
