1851/60: 3 d. pale dull red on blued paper, a fine used example with large margins all round, insignificant scissor cut in margin only at base, tied to 1856 cover to Moncton, NB by fine strike of oval "11" grid handstamp in black. Reverse with "DORCHESTER / N.B." despatch cds (Dec 31) and "BEND OF PETIT CODIAC / N.B." arrival cds's (now Moncton) in black (May 31). Refolded with file fold well away from the fine adhesive, an attractive cover Scott 1 = $ 900.
