1858: Medio (½) peso rose-red, Type C, a fine used example of excellent colour with enormous margins on three sides and ample margin at base, used on 13 July 1858 entire letter from Lima to José Maria Peña in Arequipa, tied by dotted LIMA handstamp in black. The entire with minor aging of no significance with very few covers recorded: Percy Bargholtz census #Db3. Signed Holcombe Scott = $ 4'750 off cover.
