Crown CC, Thin Bar surcharge, perf. 12½ (A), a single used example in combination with 1871 6 d. dull blue, tied to 1874 entire letter to Marseille, France tied by segmented square cork cancels in black and by Calais entry marking (Jan 12, 1875) in black. "ST. HELENA" despatch cds below (Dec 21) with manuscript "3" pence credit alongside. "London / Paid" transit in red (Jan 11) and oval framed "PD" applied in red. A fresh and fine entire, the 6 d. being rarely encountered on cover.
