British Protectorate 1815-1864 1859: (1 d.) blue, a single example with close to large margins all round, tiny scissor cut in margin only at base, used on October 1859 entire letter from Corfu to Cefalonia tied by small circular "CORFU" cds in blue (Oct 8). Underpaid and charged appropriately with "½" due in red manuscript with faint hooded "CEFALONIA" datestamp in blue adjacent. A superb and extremely rare entire. Signed Calves. Cert.
