9 Kreuzer reddish brown with franking mark "FRANKFURT A.M. N2 15.11.73" on official postcard form with red handstamp "P.D" and French transit postmark to Paris. The fresh colours stamp (postage stamp) with clear embossing and good perforation is somewhat cleaned, the postcard with vertical fold and file spit, otherwise in good overall condition. Single franking according to the rate valid from 15.5.1872 to 31.12.1874, cross postcards to France are known only in scarce examples, in this type of dispatch unique breast plate rarity, signed Hennies BPP and certificate Brugger BPP (1998)
