1 Mühlrad-cancel hellilarot, 2 single values, with 6 crosses brown and 9 crosses yellow-green, with clear open Mühlrad-cancel "598" and adjacent DKr. "WÜRZBURG 29 DEC 1857" on envelope via Innsbruck to the famous painter, sculptor, art collector and art agent of King Ludwig I, Johann Martin von Wagner, to the Villa Malta in Rome, the Roman residence of the Bavarian king. The stamps (postage stamp) are fresh colours and with full to large margins except for the 9 crosses (margin inconspicuously set above). Attractive and otherwise perfect condition. A very attractive and interesting letter, about 3 weeks after von Wagner had donated his entire art collection to the University of Würzburg.
