Lot x3 exile forces in Middle East/Palestine stamps: 1) x2 labels "Czechoslovaks in M.E." (Tobruk, Al Aden), both MNH (some gum disturbances on Tobruk issue; front overlay disturbance on Al Aden issue, also a light horizontal fold); 2) 10 mils stamp issued by Polish Red Cross in Palestine for Refugees in Russia ("polski czerwony krzy? oddzia? w palestynie na uchod?cow w rosji"), no gum. The Czech. labels relate to the 11th Czechoslovak Infantry Battalion - East, of exiled Czech. soldiers from France and Russia, which fought alongside the British forces in ME & N. Africa for 18 months; formed in Gedera, Palestine in late 1940.
