China, 1897 Small Surcharge on Dowager 1st printing 10c. on 6ca. brown, Plate C, double pane of forty with sheet margins at top and right, Panes 3 and 4, fine unused with part to much original gum which has been irregularly applied as usual, a few split perfs. in sheet margin at right, top right vertical pair has minor smudging on reverse and the first three stamps in the lower row have trimmed perfs. Chan 43.
