1949 (Oct 23) Kwangtung Kai Ping via Canton airmail to Canada Silver Yuan cover,franked on reverse Kwangtung Silver Yuan 1c x 5, Revenue surch. 10c x 5, total 55c, matching International airmail postage, tied by Kwangtung Kai Ping Tan Pien Yuan cds., along with Canton transit cds., on front with Canada arrival cds. Kai Ping was liberated on Oct 22. This is a post-liberation usage example of Silver Yuan. Cover trimmed at left and affecting two stamps, but still very rare.

1949年10月23日自廣東開平經廣州航空寄加拿大銀圓封，背面貼廣東銀元1分5枚、印花改值10分5枚，合55分銀圓，符合國際航空郵資，銷廣東開平潭邊園日戳，旁蓋廣州中轉，正面有加拿大到達戳。開平於10月22日已解放，此乃解放後沿用銀圓票的例子。封左邊裁小，影響2枚郵票，但仍不失珍罕。
