Canton was liberated on Oct 14 but some post offices still selling Unit stamps as 5 Silver Yuan or 100 RMB, matching the domestic ordinary postage or to Macau/ Hong Kong postage. This is a post-liberation usage example of Silver Yuan.

1949年10月25日廣州寄香港銀圓封，貼國內信函單位銀圓票，銷廣州日戳。廣州於10月14日已解放，但仍有幾家郵局依然以銀元5分或人民幣100元出售平信單位郵票，符合當時國內平信和寄澳門、香港郵資，此乃解放後沿用單位票的例子。
