Japanese Occupation 1942 plain undated postcard to Namitu, Aira Town, Haibara-Gun, Shizuoka Prefecture from Japanese soldier of Shinoki Party 'Numa' 8937 Southern E.F. (38th Division Mountain Artillery) with boxed Military Mail chop in orange & boxed censor handstamp in black with oval censor chop of Watanabe inserted within. [Message reads "You in Japan have heard about us in newspaper or radio, we also hear inland news by radio, I heard about the matter of 18th April (the first US bombing of Japan) on the 22nd, and I send you my first mail from South (South deleted in black ink by censor)..." which dates the card late-April early-May 1942]
