Battle of Hastings ERROR, 1/3d missing gold colour (Queens Head). Non phosphor set on Connossieur cover (Bayeux Tapestry), cds on FDI 14th October 1966, Hastings. Unaddressed. Minor creasing on both top corners. Gibbons did not list the error as the gold could be removed by chemical means. This example has the outline of the Queens' head visible and no evidence of damage to the cover around the stamp which is tied by the postmark to the cover.
