lot # 32345 - münzen Testbanknoten
Canada: Polymer Test Note "DURANOTE" printed by Silba International in the 1980s. This note marks an early test of Polymer substrate. It is intaglio printed with a picture of an oil rig on front and denomination "100". DuraNote was an innovative synthetic substrate which offered the possibility of embedding anti-counterfeiting devices in plastic substrate. Even this was one of the pioneers in Polymer production, the DuraNote susbtrate was never used on issued banknotes. This makes it a rare item in Polymer banknote history. Condition: UNC.
