Vespasian, AD 69-79. Silver Denarius (3.4g), minted posthumously at Rome by Titus, AD 80-81. Laureate head right of Vespasian. Reverse S C on a shield supported by two Capricorns; below, globe. RIC (Titus) 357; BMC 129. Minor planchet defect on reverse rim above the Capricorns. Luster remaining and delicately toned. Extremely Fine.
Minted after the deification of Vespasian.
