Macedonian Kingdom. Alexander III, the Great, 336-323 BC. Silver Tetradrachm (16.92g). Early posthumous issue. Head of young Heakles right clad in lion headdress. Reverse: Zeus seated left on backless throne, holding eagle and sceptre; monogram beneath chair. Cf. 6721. Struck in high relief. Lightly toned. NGC graded Very Fine; Strike: 5/5, Surface: 5/5.
