Thracian Kingdom. Lysimachos. Silver Tetradrachm (17.16 g), as King, 306-281 BC. Minted at Amphipolis, 288/7-282/1 BC. Diademed head of deified Alexander right, with horn of Ammon. Reverse: BAΣIΛEΩΣ ΛYΣIMAΧOY, Athena seated left, holding Nike and resting elbow on shield at side, spear leaning against far shoulder; in inner left field, caduceus; in outer right field, KA monogram. Thompson 191; Müller 106. Beautiful style with lovely iridescent tone. Extremely Fine. Estimated Value $2,500 - 3,000
