PROVISIONAL ISSUE / ΚΕΡΚΥΡΑ - CORFU./ 100 drx. (18/12/1944), Red ovpt. on 100 drx. (1941) ISOLE JONIE./Pick M15. Serial nos 01422/ 0006 748179. ( After liberation, the boat carrying fresh notes to Corfu sunk, and it was authorised to overprint italian occupation notes, until new notes arrive) rounded corners, tears and cuts & rusted. A very rare piece with clear red overprint and nos. (Pick 154) & (STRATOUDAKIS-PITIDIS 432.) VERY GOOD & VERY RARE
