Spain: Seville Mint Philip II (1556-1598) cob 2 Reales, c1597, assayer B (CC type 279, 475-6; Cb.667; Yr.527). Mintmark, assayer's initial & denomination all clear, flan clipped. VG. Coins from mainland Spain are scarce from this wreck. Western Australian Museum Certificate no 3207 (which attributes the coin to Mexico in error). With WA sale permission. (P)
