PERSIAN OCCUPATION OF SYRIA: "Heraclius & Constantine ", 610-629, AE follis (16.62g), "CHENO ", year 4, Pottier-20, same dies as Pottier-20.2, decent strike, lovely patination, cf. MIB-X30 of Heraclius, VF, ex Edward Waddell (1987). An important example, heavier than all the 150+ specimens listed by Pottier for all six classes, yet clearly a Syrian imitation and neither a standard Byzantine follis nor an imitation from elsewhere.
