MAIL OF SAILORS OF THE CRUISER ADMIRAL GRAF SPEE at first "interned" and then "prisoners" of war in several camps in Argentina: Airmail cover sent by Mr. Curt Börner in Dresden to his friend Erich Pilz in Buenos Aires on 19/FE/1940, addressed to the German Embassy so they could forward it to the sailor. Franked with 1.75M., very fine quality, there are no censor marks (rare), very interesting!

WAR INTERNEES ON MARTIN GARCIA ISLAND (Argentina): Postcard with view of the camp for German war internees, sent by a sailor of the German ship Cap Trafalgar, interned until the end of World War I, in Martín García island, dispatched on 21/MAY/1915 to Altona franked with 5c. "Plowman", with violet straightline "Isla Martín García" cancel, excellent quality, extremely rare, ex-Loeb (its price was US$1,000), good opportunity!

18/SE/1931 Friedrichshafen - Argentina, card with postage of 2Mk. (Sc.C36), carried on the second Zeppelin flight to South America, arrival mark of Buenos Aires 23/SE, excellent quality!

Card franked by Sc.C41 (1931 2Mk. Polar Fahrt), sent from the Zeppelin to Uruguay on 18/OC/1931, with special handstamp and arrival mark of Montevideo, excellent quality, ex-Loeb (its price was US$350)

22/JUN/1934 Berlin - Buenos Aires: Registered card sent by Zeppelin franked with 2Mk., special handstamp of the flight, and arrival backstamp, very fine quality!

Airmail cover sent from München to Argentina on 10/FE/1943, with German censor marks at left, the cover was seized by the Allies and helf for 2 and a half years: it bears a British censor label at right, and "THIS ARTICLE HAS BEEN HELD BY THE OFFICE OF CENSORSHIP" on front, with Buenos Aires arrival backstamp of 21/SE/1945!!
