Rabbi Yehoshua Kaniel: typewritten letter dated 4-9-1942 & signed by the Rabbi w/handwritten edit; sent to "General Committee" of Knesset Israel in regard to bequeathment of money from recently deceased local resident (the Rav served as the Chief Rabbi of Haifa); vertically folded & with filing holes; stamped by the Office of the Rabbinate of the Jewish Community Haifa. The Rav was one of the key students of Rabbi Avraham Kook.
