1897, the scarce private stationery card 10 Pfg. (upper left corner bend) to commemorate Heinrich von Stephan, private stationery card 10 Pfg., sent from ZWICKAU 31.12.97 to a member of the german ship SMS DEUTSCHLAND at Hongkong (China), where it arrived HONGKONG B FE/1 1898, than resent from Hongkong C FE/19 98 to SINGAPORE, where it arrived FE/28 98.
At this same date the card received on the picture side a postmark of the KAIS. DEUTSCHE MARINESCHIFFSPOST No.40 and a handwritten notice "nicht SMS Deutschland " (not on board SMS Deutschland) and was sent back to Germany with an arrival mark of Zwickau 29.3.98. This card is very scarce (upper left corner bend), and related to sending to China Hongkong Singapore it seems to be unique and an exhibition item! ÷ 1897, Privat-Ganzsachen-Karte 10 Pfg. Heinrich von Stephan von Zwickau 31.12.1897 an Matrose auf SMS Deutschland Hongkong (China), Ankunftstempel 1.2.98 und weitergesandt nach Singapur, dort bei Ankunft am 28.2.98 mit Marineschiffspoststempel KDMS No.40 versehen und handschriftl. Vermerk "nicht SMS Deutschland" und nach Zwickau retourniert, dort am 29.3.98 angekommen. Diese seltene Privat-GA-Karte dürfte im Versand nach Asien wohl Unikat sein!
