1863/80 4 d. bright violet and 6 d. apple-green, wmk. Crown CC, perf. 12½, used on 1871 cover to Lockeport, Nova Scotia endorsed 'via St. Thomas & Bernuda' tied by double arc 'Trinidad' datestamps (Dec 24) with TRINIDAD / PAID cds in red adjacent to '8' in red manuscript. Reverse with 'St. Thomas' transit cds (Dec 28), Halifax oval datestamp (Jan 25) and faint arrival in black.
